<p>The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of hospital accreditation (HA) on patient satisfaction (PS) and healthcare quality outcomes (HQO). It examines how accreditation impacts service quality, patient safety, and clinical effectiveness, while identifying challenges and best practices in implementing accreditation standards to enhance healthcare service delivery and patient-centered care. This study utilized the quantitative research methodology. The study collects responses from 563 patients, retrieved from various hospitals in Tamil Nadu, India, using stratified random sampling methods. Descriptive statistics, ANOVA, regression, correlation, and factor analyses are applied to data to review the effect of HA on PS and HQO. The findings indicate that HA accounted for 63.7% of the variance in PS (R<sup>2</sup> = 0.637) and 51.8% of the variance in HQO (R<sup>2</sup> = 0.518), confirming very strong positive associations. Accreditation is associated with improvement in quality of service, communication, clinical effectiveness, and patient safety. The study also identifies challenges in implementing accreditation that can be addressed with strategies, including difficulties with resources and workload. In addition, the study indicates best practices that support sustainability of quality improvement. The study found that HA certainly has a positive and measurable effect on PS and HQO, especially in improving safety, adherence to guidelines, and clinical efficiencies. However, achieving and maintaining this impact necessitates ongoing monitoring, training staff, and implementation of quality assurance mechanisms under governance. This study adds to the existing literature by giving empirical evidence through quantitative validation (e.g., KMO, R<sup>2</sup> correlation) to explore the effects of HA on PS and HQO in private hospitals in the state of Tamil Nadu, whereas a number of earlier studies have discussed accreditation in a conceptual way. It also provides a data-based model of implementing accreditation standards for the delivery of sustainable patient-centered care, as well as measurable quality outcomes.</p>
