<p>This study explores the lived experiences of married young adults in Iran in relation to inflation. The aim of this research is to gain a deep understanding of how educated married youth adapt to the phenomenon of inflation. A phenomenological method was employed in this study. The research was conducted in Kerman, the capital of Kerman Province. Participants were selected through purposive sampling, and data were collected via semi-structured interviews with 17 men and 13 women. Seven main themes were extracted from the interviews: normalization of corruption in economic relations, migration in the context of economic instability, psychological consequences of economic instability, adaptation to limitations, distrust in the government, materialism, spreading a sense of insecurity. The findings of this study indicate that inflation has transformed the social lifeworld of young adults and led to extensive psychological, social, and economic consequences. In confronting inflation, participants experienced emotions such as despair and anxiety, and adopted strategies such as migration, seeking new ways of acquiring wealth, engaging in low-cost leisure activities, and adapting to limitations.</p>
