<p>In this paper, we provide a new method for constructing asymmetric quantum error-correcting (AQEC) codes. This method is called the <InlineEquation ID="IEq4"> <EquationSource Format="TEX">\(\sigma \)</EquationSource> <EquationSource Format="MATHML"><math> <mi>σ</mi> </math></EquationSource> </InlineEquation>-optimal defining matrix-product (<InlineEquation ID="IEq5"> <EquationSource Format="TEX">\(\sigma \)</EquationSource> <EquationSource Format="MATHML"><math> <mi>σ</mi> </math></EquationSource> </InlineEquation>-OD MP) construction. By applying this method, several classes of AQEC codes can be constructed. In addition, our obtained AQEC codes have better parameters than the ones available in the literature.</p>

\(\sigma \)-OD MP codes and their applications to AQEC codes

摘要

In this paper, we provide a new method for constructing asymmetric quantum error-correcting (AQEC) codes. This method is called the \(\sigma \) σ -optimal defining matrix-product ( \(\sigma \) σ -OD MP) construction. By applying this method, several classes of AQEC codes can be constructed. In addition, our obtained AQEC codes have better parameters than the ones available in the literature.
