<p>Quantum error-correcting codes have always been important technologies to ensure the reliability and security of quantum communication. In this paper, we construct some optimal quantum subsystem codes using generalized Reed–Solomon codes over finite fields with odd characteristics. These new construction methods enrich the construction ideas of quantum subsystem codes, and many optimal quantum subsystem codes can be derived.</p>
