New quantum codes from Hermitian dual-containing matrix-product codes

In this paper, we provide a method to construct quantum codes from matrix-product codes which the constituent codes have no restrictions. Then, we construct several classes of quantum codes. Some of our quantum codes are new in the sense that the parameters are different from all the previous constructions. In addition, we have that the lengths of some quantum codes are same from the previous constructions, but these quantum codes have larger dimensions.
