Early stage disentanglement mediated by plasmons for different waveguide geometries

摘要

We have investigated the finite time disentanglement between two distinct qubits to analyze the dark period of the V-shaped channel and cylindrical geometry. To this aim, a physical system of two spatially separated qubits mediated by the surface plasmons is studied. The phenomena of entanglement sudden death and entanglement sudden birth are examined for Dicke states by applying Wootter’s concurrence. The characteristics of entanglement sudden birth are found to be different for both geometries. The dark period for different initial states is also estimated. The robustness of cylindrical geometry due to the lesser dark period enables the present scheme for the practical realization of quantum information processing.
