摘要

This paper describes pre-service teachers’ thoughts and experiences after engaging with practices from PK–12 education – a spiral curriculum and looping – with two instructors for four semesters, as well as the benefits and the challenges of implementing these practices in a university setting. It also illustrates implications for educators who work with future teachers and highlights the importance of modeling research-based practices for students that will enable them to enter their future classrooms as transformative educators.
