Implementation of BPM at a Public University in Poland: The Significance of Custom IT Tools
摘要
The higher education sector faces rapid transformation, requiring universities to enhance adaptability through effective management practices. This study examines the implementation of Business Process Management (BPM) in a public university using the BPM Life Cycle framework and supporting IT tools. Its goal is to identify key factors influencing BPM adoption and to present a proprietary IT solution designed to streamline this process, an area rarely explored in academia. Combining literature review, action research, and case study methods, the paper offers both theoretical and practical insights, demonstrating how BPM fosters a shift from functional to process-oriented management in higher education.
