摘要

This study compares Andrés Blanco’s International Taxation and Capitalism, Scott G. Nelson and Joel T. Shelton’s Statecraft and the Political Economy of Capitalism, and Valentina Rotondi and Paolo Santori’s Rethinking Economics Starting from the Commons. The study combines the normative foundations shared by these three books—heterodox tax justice, ethical state capacity, and commons-based solidarity—in a redefinition of public economics. Consequently, an approach to “ethical public economics” based on trust, solidarity, and moral responsibility, beyond fiscal justice, is proposed.
