<p>This study assessed knowledge, attitudes, and practices on fire insurance among Dhaka residents, surveying 467 participants. Results showed a significant knowledge gap, with only 34.48% aware of fire insurance and just 22.27% insured, though 65.59% knew fire safety measures. Participation in fire drills improved knowledge and attitudes (β = 0.28, <i>p</i> &lt; 0.001), and higher education and income were linked to increased awareness. Despite 60.6% showing positive attitudes, financial concerns limited adoption. The findings underscore the need for targeted educational campaigns and community initiatives to enhance fire insurance awareness, especially for low-income groups.</p>
