Career Plateau and Cyberloafing Among Lecturers: A Moderated Mediation Analysis
摘要
This study explores the moderating effect of employee well-being on the relationship between career plateau and cyberloafing through work and time pressures, using the Job Demand-Resources (JD-R) model and the Conservation of Resources (COR) theory. Data from 318 lecturers at public universities in Accra, Ghana, were analysed through hierarchical models, the Bootstrap method, and interaction graphs. Results reveal that workload and time pressures partially mediate the link between career plateau and cyberloafing. Employee well-being moderates both the relationship between career plateau and workload and the indirect influence of career plateau on workload through cyberloafing.
