Lean Six Sigma for Value Creation in Non-Profit Organizations – A Volunteer Management Case Study
摘要
This paper explores the challenges of value creation in Non-Profit Organizations (NPOs) and the role of Lean Six Sigma (LSS) in enhancing their effectiveness. By integrating insights from focus group discussions and reflective analysis, it highlights understanding customer needs, managing conflicting objectives, and aligning LSS with the non-profit sector. Findings show that LSS improves volunteer recruitment, engagement, and retention, reducing turnover and increasing satisfaction. By demonstrating practical applications, this paper highlights LSS as a structured, data-driven approach to overcoming operational challenges. It underscores LSS’s potential to create sustainable value in NPOs by improving efficiency, stakeholder engagement, and overall organizational impact.
