The article underscores M&amp;E’s critical role in navigating complexity, ensuring accountability, and promoting continuous learning in climate initiatives. The lessons from the case studies highlight challenges and successful approaches and practices that can inform future design, implementation, and M&amp;E of interventions. The article calls for integrated, theory-based evaluation approaches attentive to environmental sustainability and socio-political contexts to enhance the impact and sustainability of climate interventions.</p>
