摘要
Diversity is increasingly valued in organizations for its potential to improve performance, customer service, and competitiveness. This study investigates the impact of workforce diversity, including surface-level factors like age, gender, and ethnicity, as well as deep-level factors such as educational background, on employee performance in private banks in Woldia Town, Ethiopia. Through an explanatory research design and quantitative approach, 160 employees from four banks were surveyed using stratified random sampling. Analysis revealed a positive and significant relationship between workforce diversity and employee performance, suggesting the need for policies that embrace employees’ diverse characteristics to enhance organizational effectiveness.
