<p>The authors of The Blind Spot emphasize the need for a new scientific worldview to navigate the crisis of meaning in contemporary science. They hold that objective scientific knowledge, developed from a third-person perspective, conceals knowledge gained through direct human experience (from a first-person perspective) in a blind spot. I argue that moving beyond the science blind spot requires an interdisciplinary approach in which the second-person perspective is also significant. This paper presents an analysis of the intellectual virtues necessary for interdisciplinary research. The necessity for philosophy to actively participate in this interdisciplinary dialogue is highlighted, and the focus on cultivating specific epistemic virtues in researchers is suggested.&#xa0;</p>
