Water-Soluble Polymeric Derivative of Ofloxacin Ketimine: Synthesis and Antituberculosis Activity
摘要
Water-soluble copolymers of acrylamide with 2-aminoethyl methacrylate hydrochloride were obtained by radical copolymerization as polymer carriers for modifying ofloxacin. Their composition, molecular, and hydrodynamic characteristics were studied. An optimal sample of the copolymer suitable as a carrier was selected based on the results. A water-soluble polymeric derivative of ofloxacin ketimine was synthesized, exhibited high anti-tuberculosis activity, and was characterized by prolonged release of the fluoroquinolone.
