摘要

The design of new drugs by chemical modification of hydroxybenzoic acid derivatives is the leading direction of our research work, the purpose of which is to find low-toxic lead compounds for the design of new pharmacologically active molecules on their basis. In this regard, computer modeling and prediction of the pharmacological parameters of hydroxybenzoic acid amides with L-methionine were implemented. The hepatotropic activity profile was preliminarily assessed. The probabilities of detecting hepatoprotective and lipotropic activity were found. The cytotoxicity was predicted in silico. Several N-(hydroxybenzoyl)methionines were selected based on computer monitoring results and synthesized using a previously developed method. The theoretical absence of cytotoxic effects was confirmed by a direct study of the in vitro cytotoxicity using cell culture technologies and the MTT test.
