摘要

The advantages and disadvantages of the sedimentation method used in pharmaceutical practice for microbiological monitoring of the air environment in clean zones are considered. The effects of various factors on air monitoring results in clean zones using the sedimentation method are proved experimentally. The degree of desiccation of trypticase soy agar and Sabouraud agar with glucose and chloramphenicol was assessed depending on the exposure time of Petri dishes and regulated incubation conditions. The possibility of recovery of inoculated microorganisms S. epidermidis, M. luteus, and A. brasiliensis ATCC 16404 within the acceptance limits from 50 to 200% by keeping Petri dishes under sedimentation conditions for up to4h is shown.
