Anti-Inflammatory Activity of 5-Aryl-4-Hetaroyl-3-Hydroxy-1-Hydroxyalkyl-3-Pyrrolin-2-Ones
摘要
The anti-inflammatory activity of new 3-pyrrolin-2-one derivatives, namely, 5-aryl-4-hetaroyl-3-hydroxy-1-hydroxyalkyl-3-pyrrolin-2-ones, was studied. The studied 5-aryl-4-hetaroyl-3-hydroxy-1-hydroxyalkyl-3-pyrrolin-2-ones exhibited an anti-inflammatory effect, inhibiting swelling of rat paws in an acute exudative inflammation model caused by subplantar injection of carrageenan solution (1%) and did not change the absorption activity of peripheral blood leukocytes. The studied compounds reduced the number of abdominal muscle contractions in mice in a peritovisceral pain model caused by intraperitoneal injection of acetic-acid solution (0.75%).
