Mixed-Method Exploration of Dynamic Spirituality in Mindfulness-Based Health Intervention: The Mantram Repetition Program
摘要
This study investigated the influence of the mantram repetition program (MRP) on dynamic spirituality factors. Participants (N = 23) completed focus groups and spirituality-related scales. The results showed that the MRP enhances intrinsic spirituality and life purpose, correlating with reduced substance cravings and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) symptom severity. Qualitative data revealed that the MRP fosters mindfulness, grounding, and alignment, offering practical coping strategies and enhancing spiritual well-being. These findings highlight the MRP’s value as a mindfulness-based intervention that supports spiritual growth, making it a relevant approach for individuals facing both PTSD and substance use disorder.
