<p>In this paper, the propagation expression of the Elegant Hermite Higher-order cosine-hyperbolic Gaussian Beams through a paraxial ABCD optical system is derived based on the Collins formula. To examine the effects of the beam’s structural parameters, including the beam order, decentered parameter b, power exponent of the cosh part, and the Fresnel number N<sub>F</sub>, numerical analysis is performed, focusing on its propagation characteristics and beam focusing. From the obtained results, valuable insights into the effects of these parameters on the beam profile, focusing, and focal shift are provided, offering several potential applications in advanced laser systems and optical communication.</p>
