摘要

The existence of nonautonomous solitons on a continuous wave background in an inhomogeneous nonlinear medium with temporally varying dispersion, cubic nonlinearity, quintic nonlinearity, and self-steepening effect is reported. Further, the precise conditions for the formation of these localized waves in the nonlinear system are determined. It is found that these nonautonomous solitons nicely exhibit a frequency chirp property which originates from the self-steepening process. It is also demonstrated that the velocity of these chirped nonautonomous solitons is time-dependent, and it can be controlled more efficiently by selecting the appropriate profile of the varying-in-time dispersion parameter. The results reveal that interesting motion trajectories of nonautonomous solitons including the acceleration, deceleration, reversion of propagation direction, and stopping behaviors can be achieved through different dispersion profiles.
