Design of conformal inhomogeneous lens antenna using critical angle theorem and mapping of parabolic coordinate

摘要

In this paper, a design for a conformal inhomogeneous lens antenna is presented that available high gain and directivity with a low profile and conformal shape. The design is based on the critical angle theorem and mapping of parabolic coordinates, resulting in a lens that offers a good match to the feed antenna and the surrounding environment. This lens is suitable for use in millimeter, THz, and optical frequencies. To confirm the results in the designed frequency band, a parametric model is provided based on the design frequency, and full wave simulations using Comsol multi-physics software are used.
