RETRACTED ARTICLE: Application of optical magnetic resonance imaging detection in the safety of direct aspiration thrombectomy for acute intracranial arterial occlusion surgery

Acute intracranial arterial occlusion is a serious cerebrovascular disease, and direct thrombectomy is the main treatment. However, the lack of real-time and effective imaging detection means may lead to intraoperative complications. The objective of this study was to evaluate the safety of optical magnetic resonance imaging in direct aspiration thrombectomy and to investigate its impact on surgical outcomes. The clinical data of patients with acute intracranial arterial occlusion treated by direct aspiration thrombectomy were retrospectively analyzed. The position, morphology and hemodynamics of thrombus were monitored in real time by optical magnetic resonance imaging. The results show that optical magnetic resonance imaging can accurately show the size and shape of thrombus in high resolution imaging images during direct aspiration thrombectomy. The technology can also monitor changes in hemodynamics in real time and guide surgical procedures. The incidence of intraoperative complications was significantly decreased (P < 0.05). Therefore, optical magnetic resonance imaging has a high safety application value in direct aspiration thrombectomy, which can provide real-time and accurate imaging information, help to reduce the occurrence of surgical complications, and improve the success rate of surgery.
