<p>The application of blockchain technology has restructured the operation of the remanufacturing supply chain, impacting the carbon reduction effectiveness within the carbon trading market. The increased transparency it brings may also induce market volatility. This paper, grounded in game theory and chaos theory, constructs four decision models for a remanufacturing supply chain comprising an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and a third-party remanufacturer (TPR). We solve for the optimal pricing and carbon emission decisions under these four models and conduct simulations to analyze how blockchain influences the operational decisions of the remanufacturing supply chain. The results indicate that: (1) After the application of blockchain, changes in the price adjustment parameters of OEM and TPR more easily lead to market instability. (2) An increase in carbon price promotes carbon reduction in the supply chain, but the effect gradually diminishes. (3) The application of blockchain technology enhances consumer preferences for both traditional and remanufactured products, benefiting the carbon reduction of the supply chain.</p>
