摘要

In complex engineering dynamics problems, multidisciplinary coupling is commonly encountered, such as the interactions between mechanical, thermodynamic, electrical, and other disciplines. Traditional single-discipline methods often fail to comprehensively solve these multidisciplinary coupling issues. To enhance the Multi-Body System Transfer Matrix Method (MSTMM) and make it applicable to the solution of multidisciplinary coupling problems, this paper presents a diesel engine force-thermal coupling modeling process based on MSTMM. It demonstrates how MSTMM can be applied to force-thermal coupling problems by combining it with governing equations of the thermodynamics field. A concise and effective method is provided by this process to describe and solve complex force-thermal coupling problems in diesel engines. In the force-thermal coupling model, the dynamics of the mechanical system interact with the thermodynamic process, achieving dynamic coupling between the two disciplines through coupled calculations. This method effectively reduces the complexity of constructing and solving high-order matrices equation. Through the comprehensive modeling and simulation analysis of an 8-cylinder V-type diesel engine, the effectiveness of MSTMM in force-thermal coupling applications is validated. The force-thermal coupling modeling based on MSTMM offers a new approach for solving multidisciplinary coupling problems.
