The multi-positon and interaction solutions of the higher-order modified Gerdjikov–Ivanov equation

This work focuses on the dynamics of localized waves for the higher-order modified Gerdjikov–Ivanov equation. Based on the Lax pair, the Nth-fold Darboux transformation is built. The modulation instability is analyzed based on the plane-wave solution. In addition, the second-, third- and fourth-order positon solutions are obtained and presented graphically. Specially, the interactions between higher-order rogue wave and space-time period breather are achieved. Moreover, the dynamic properties of the above localized waves are analyzed.
