Risk management strategies and climate change adoption policy: a global literature review using bibliometric analysis
摘要
This study presents a comprehensive survey of publications on risk management and climate change using a systematic review approach and incorporating bibliometric analysis. The researchers have examined the evolution of research on risk management and climate change concerning previous scholarly works. They have explored the essential elements that constitute effective strategies for mitigating climate-related hazards and identified emerging focus areas in adapting to environmental changes. The analysis demonstrates that there has been a continuous focus on many subjects within the literature, including adoption, resilience, climate change adaptation, flood risk management, vulnerability, disaster risk management, uncertainty, flood risk, and disaster risk reduction. The research also indicates that academics have addressed rising difficulties by implementing strategies for managing climate risks, developing a global framework for addressing climate-related threats, and moving their attention from solely adopting and mitigating measures to significantly adapting to environmental changes. The authors anticipate that this study will establish a fundamental basis for subsequent risk management and climate change investigations.
