摘要

This study analyzes changes in the contractile properties of rat calf muscle during the first five weeks after foot amputation. Data were collected using servo-controlled electrical stimulation and mechanogram measurements, quantifying muscle performance by calculating the area under the force curves. The findings reveal a substantial decline in overall muscle performance during the initial two weeks, attributed to muscle atrophy from disuse. However, by the fourth week, a statistically significant recovery of contractile function and fatigue resistance was observed, indicating the activation of adaptive processes. These results offer novel insights for developing rehabilitation strategies and investigating the mechanisms of muscle recovery following traumatic interventions.
