Purpose <p>Gliomas present a significant public health challenge owing to their complex management and poor prognosis. Robust real-world datasets are essential for advancing glioma research and informing clinical practice. To address limitations of existing resources, we established the China National Glioma Registry (CNGR), a comprehensive, glioma-specific registry designed to systematically capture multidimensional data.</p> Methods <p>The CNGR is a prospective, longitudinal, observational registry initiated at Beijing Tiantan Hospital. Adult-type diffuse glioma patients are consecutively enrolled following informed consent. Clinical, pathological, imaging, functional, and long-term follow-up data are collected at predefined time points by trained specialists using standardized procedures and recorded in a secure electronic data capture system. All aspects of data acquisition and quality control are overseen by a dedicated multidisciplinary team to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity. The study protocol has been approved by the Ethics Committee of Beijing Tiantan Hospital and registered with the Chinese Clinical Trial Registry.</p> Conclusion <p>The CNGR offers a structured framework for high-quality real-world data acquisition across the glioma disease trajectory. Although currently single-center, its nationwide recruitment ensures cohort diversity and broad applicability. The CNGR is intended to serve as a scalable model for future multi-center studies in neuro-oncology and as a robust research infrastructure to enhance diagnostic precision, inform therapeutic decision-making, and support prognostic evaluation.
