<p>The primary focus of literary trauma theory revolves around theconsiderations of place and time. However, prevailing discourse within literarytrauma studies predominantly emphasizes the temporal dimensions of trauma,often overlooking the significance of the spatial context wherein traumaticevents unfold within literary representations. Against the backdrop ofgeography in modernism, this research endeavors to amalgamate insightsfrom humanistic and cultural geographies on place, psychoanalyticconceptions of the uncanny, and contemporary dialogues surrounding traumatheory. By adopting an interdisciplinary approach, this study aims to formulatea novel methodology and conceptual framework for investigating the nexusbetween place and trauma. In doing so, it aspires to foster a more intricatecomprehension of how literature mirrors and influences our perceptions oftrauma and its ramifications on individuals and societies.</p>
