<p><b>Objective.</b> To evaluate the effect of Cerebrolysin in improving the skill formation process in patients with acute cerebrovascular accident (ACVA) during medical rehabilitation based on a systematic literature review using elements of meta-analysis. <b>Materials and methods.</b> A search for publications was conducted in the PubMed, Google Scholar, and eLibrary databases using the following English-language keywords: Cerebrolysin; Rehabilitation; Arm; Speech; Occupational therapy; Physical therapy; Ergotherapy. Original comparative studies investigating the effects of the drug on a population of patients after ACVA, using rehabilitation measures and measuring effectiveness using BI, ARAT, FIM, mRS, RMI, COPM, WAB, and FMA, were included. Mathematical processing of the action research arm test (ARAT) results was performed using the SMD method. <b>Results.</b> The positive effect of enhancing neuroplasticity with Cerebrolysin was reflected as a significant improvement in daily functioning in patients undergoing early comprehensive rehabilitation or physical therapy after a stroke. Patients showed statistically significant recovery of function in the affected upper limb during long-term rehabilitation initiated in the early subacute period of stroke. Speech and social functioning improved as a result of speech therapy interventions. Reductions in depression and improvements in social adaptation were demonstrated with occupational therapy and psychological rehabilitation. The best results were seen with a 30-ml dose given alongside comprehensive multidisciplinary rehabilitation. Efficacy was reduced with late initiation of rehabilitation and short drug treatment courses. Cerebrolysin was shown to be effective in the recovery of patients after stroke. The drug effect gradually increases, starting with minimal improvements in the initial stages and reaching its maximum effect after 90 days. <b>Conclusions.</b> The use of Cerebrolysin at doses from 10–30 ml during post-stroke rehabilitation leads to an increase in the quantity and quality of restored functions and formed skills, as demonstrated in a series of 10 studies.</p>
