Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder in Adults

This article provides a review of scientific publications addressing studies of the features of the clinical picture and dynamics of the main symptoms in adult patients with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and analyzes current data on the prevalence of this disorder, its leading clinical manifestations, and the most common comorbid pathologies. Research data on the impact of ADHD in adulthood on educational and professional activities are presented and the economic and criminological aspects of ADHD are considered. The main methods of psychotherapeutic correction and pharmacological therapy are discussed.
