Design and evaluation of TPB based anti-bullying intervention for university students
摘要
The presence of Cyberbullying (CB) phenomenon in university students reported in literature highlights the need for an educational intervention. In this study, we use theory of planned behavior (TPB) to develop and evaluate CB intervention. A mixed-method approach is employed. The development of the CB intervention is achieved by focus group and the evaluation of the intervention is done by pre and post-test quasi-experiment. The focus group consisted of relevant domain experts who reviewed, customized, and modified the contents of existing programs during co-design workshop. A total of 157 students took part in the TPB based quasi-experiment and it was revealed that intervention was effective in changing the student’s attitude, perceived behavioral control and intention towards CB.
