摘要

The critical factors affecting the flexural performance of wide RC beams bonded with CFRP were investigated. The analysis was carried out with the assistance of finite element models. These models were confirmed using experimental data, where it could be observed that the prediction was very close to the actual values obtained. Finally, the validated model was used to investigate the effect of various parameters, such as bonding techniques, CFRP configurations (e.g., width, length, multiple layers, with or without U-wraps), and concrete compressive strength, on the flexural performance of the beams. The findings provide valuable insights into the design and performance of wide RC beams bonded with CFRP under flexure. The numerical model developed can be used to optimize the design of such beams for different applications.
