<p>The effect of plasma quenching on the structure and corrosion resistance of 65G structural steel was investigated. Gravimetric corrosion tests were performed to measure mass loss before and after heat treatment and to determine the area affected by corrosion. This paper presents the experimental methodology, corrosion rate calculations, and analysis of the results. The results showed that plasma quenching can significantly alter the surface structure and thereby affect corrosion resistance in aggressive environments.</p>
