<p>Novolipetsk Steel (NLMK, Lipetsk, Russia) has initiated the production of galvanized rolled steel with a&#xa0;zinc coating of increased weight, ranging from 450 to 600 g/m<sup>2</sup>, on both sides of the strip. In Russia, the product is in demand for the construction of grain bins (silos), and road infrastructure, including corrugated metal pipes and fencing. The product offers enhanced corrosion resistance, as demonstrated through accelerated weathering tests, and represents a&#xa0;viable alternative to similar imported products.</p>
