摘要

The article compares the efficiency of technologies for feeding liquid metal into the mold of a continuous casting machine (CCM) and its flow within the mold volume under conditions of free and forced mixing. The influence of various designs of the developed mixing devices on the nature of the melt flow in the mold volume is analyzed. The objects of research are the hydrodynamic and thermal flows of liquid metal during the casting of steel into the CCM mold.
