Evaluation of hot hardening resource of die steel with controlled austenitic transformation during exploitation
摘要
In this work there is evaluation of the life of hot strengthened die steel with controlled austenitic transformation during exploitation. For this purpose thermomechanical treatment of specimens is conducted according to a compression scheme, which consists of a preliminary hot hardening stage (in the range of 450–750 °C) and a stage of long-term (9 cycles with e ~0.02 per cycle) hot deformation (at 750 °C). It is established that during long-term hot deformation the relative value of specimen weakening is only about 8%. The results obtained make it possible to predict stable operation of a stamping tool made of steel with controlled austenitic transformation during exploitation at temperatures of 450–750 °C.
