<p>The influence of injection strengthening on the residual strength of plates with surface semi-elliptical cracks is investigated. Approximation relationships for estimating the stress intensity factors at the points of their maximum value are proposed. Formulas for determining the limit load of a&#xa0;strengthened plate are obtained. The accuracy and applicability limits of the obtained approximation formulas are found based on finite element method calculations using the Code Aster software. The results show good agreement of the approximate analytical relationships with the data of numerical calculations.</p>
