Evaluation of the increased local trapped hydrogen concentration

Mathematical models of low-alloyed steels of hydrogen charging, enabling the assessment of increased local hydrogen concentration near defects of various types, were developed. Analytical dependences were established, and computational evaluations of the local distribution of trapped hydrogen near voids of different shapes and crack-like defects on the internal surface of a pipeline made of low-alloy steel were performed, depending on the internal pressure of the hydrogen-containing environment.
