Thermodynamic analysis of the formation of chemical compounds reactions during arc spraying of coatings with cored wires

The thermodynamic probabilities of forming simple compounds (oxides, nitrides, carbides) from the components of cored wire charges used for the arc spraying of restorative coatings were determined based on Gibbs energy changes. Additionally, possible losses of alloying elements due to evaporation in pure form and as a part of simple compounds were estimated.
