High-temperature metal corrosion during the combustion of coal with high salt content
摘要
The modern mechanisms of corrosion processes development during the combustion of carbon raw materials (biomass waste, coal of various metamorphisms) with a high content (Na2O in ash ≥ 2%) of low-melting salts and sulfur are considered. The morphological features of deposits on the metal surface exposed to the high-temperature combustion gases of the salty coal (SC) before and after desalination and also corrosion products composition of ferrite steel during SC ashing and its mixture with power-generating gas coal are determined. It was experimentally found that extraction of water-soluble compounds from SC (on the example of deposits of Northern Donbas) and its mixture with coal of low salinity led to a significant reduction of heating surface corrosion during combustion.
