Development of a Model of Transition Element Factor of Alloying Elements of Self-Shielding Flux-Cored Powder Wire and Optimization of its Core Filler Composition
摘要
The application of exothermic additions (EA) for the core filler is one of the effective ways to increase the energy efficiency of the flux-cored wire surfacing process. A mathematical model of the dependence of the overall transition element factor (η(SS)) on the ratio of exothermic mixture oxidizing agent to graphite content (CuO/C) and the ratio of oxidizing agent to reducing agent of exothermic mixture (CuO/Al) was developed. It is recommended to use these dependencies to assess the transition of alloying elements of the core filler into the deposited metal and to predict the overall transition element factor η(SS). The optimal content of flux-cored wire components was determined.
