Rapid and efficient evaluation method of gel ink based on thermogravimetry analysis and differential scanning calorimetry
摘要
This paper proposes a rapid and efficient evaluation method of gel ink, which can analyze thermal behavior of different gel inks based on thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). Compared with traditional detection methods, this method has the advantages of short time consumption, simple operation, and low professional limitations. Seven gel inks were chosen to characterize key properties by viscosity test, particle size analysis, and TGA/DSC analysis. The results showed significant difference between inks, reflecting the diversity of formulation system and preparation processes. Besides, by analyzing TGA and DSC curves, the key parameters were extracted to establish unique fingerprint of gel inks. Furthermore, an Ink Evaluation Index was proposed to quantitatively compare the thermal stability and compositional complexity of the samples. This method has opened a fast and efficient testing method, which not only helps analyze ink composition, but also provides effective reference for improving ink performance.
