Energy, exergy, exergoeconomic and exergoenvironment (4E) analysis method in energy systems engineering: advanced bibliometric mapping
摘要
Concern about environmental issues is increasing day by day. This issue is of great interest due to the dependence of energy on fossil fuels and the subsequent emission of greenhouse gases. For this reason, it is tried to reduce the amount of use of these fuels by integrating renewable energies and creating an integrated energy system. Efficient deployment of energy can be achieved by reducing actual losses, costs, and environmental impacts. One of the most important methods for evaluating energy systems is energy, exergy, exergoeconomic and exergoenvironment (4E) analysis. The purpose of this article is a bibliometric analysis and systematic drawing of the output of articles in the field of 4E analysis and understanding its effectiveness using VOSviewer software. To achieve this goal, 3697 articles in related field from 2001 to April 2024 were extracted using the Scopus research database. Promising areas in the coming years, current issues being worked on, clusters, and classification of patents about the 4E analysis topic were examined. The results showed that in recent years, Iran and China are among the leading countries in conducting this kind of studies and this method has attracted the attention of many researchers in recent years. Finally, data mining analysis based on the bibliometric approach was conducted on research progress, trends, existing gaps, etc. to examine the 4E analysis. This study can be used by experts in energy related fields to quantitatively examine the trends and future direction of this research topic.
