Recent advances in evacuated tube solar collectors research: a comprehensive review, statistical evaluation and bibliometric analysis from 1976 to 2024
摘要
Evacuated tube solar collectors are essential devices for capturing solar radiation and transforming it into usable thermal energy for diverse applications, thereby supporting renewable energy initiatives and promoting sustainable energy practices. The present study focuses on examining scientific literature on evacuated tube solar collectors indexed in the Scopus database, employing bibliometric and statistical analyses through VOSviewer and R-Studio software. The objective is to assess the structural characteristics, conceptual development, and emerging trends in related publications. The research is conducted in four phases: defining search criteria, retrieving and selecting relevant documents, extracting data using the software, and analyzing the results covering the period from 1976 to 2024. The findings indicate a significant increase in research publications focusing on evacuated tube solar collectors research from 2018 onwards. India was the leading country for Evacuated tube solar collectors research, while Solar Energy journal recorded the most research in the subject area. The top author of this field is Yadav, A. The National Institute of Technology has been the leading organization in this field. Therefore, a systematic review of highly cited articles has been conducted significantly. Overall, this study allows academics and researchers to identify and contribute to future research directions on evacuated tube solar collectors.
