摘要

A method has been developed for the separation of the radioisotope 185Os from a rhenium target of natural isotopic composition irradiated with 30 MeV protons. The irradiated rhenium powder was dissolved in 3 M HNO3, and the solution was then adjusted to 3 M NaOH. The resulting solution was passed through a column packed with the extraction chromatographic resin TEVA Resin. Rhenium was retained on the column, whereas osmium was not. The separation factor (β) for rhenium and osmium was approximately 1∙103. The radiochemical yield of osmium amounted to 96% ± 2% with a relative uncertainty of 2.3%.
