<p><i>Galaxy Serpent</i> is an ongoing series of virtual, web-based international tabletop exercises designed to advance the application of National Nuclear Forensics Libraries (NNFLs) in investigations involving nuclear and other radioactive material found out of regulatory control. This iteration emphasized interactions between scientific teams and mock investigative entities. Participants utilized their provided NNFLs to assess material consistency with a provided database of holdings, assign confidence levels, and identify key characteristics relevant to investigative queries. The exercise highlighted both challenges encountered and lessons learned, and advanced best practices for integrating a NNFL into nuclear forensics as part of an investigation.</p>
