<p>This study presents gamma spectrometry analyses of&#xa0;<sup>40</sup>K, <sup>238</sup>U and <sup>232</sup>Th in the Dababiya Quarry Global Stratotype Section and Point (GSSP), Egypt to evaluate uranium mobility and potential environmental hazards in this globally significant site. Uranium enrichment peaks in the Esna Formation are, up to 248 Bq/kg in the Hanadi Member, far exceeding global background levels (33 Bq/kg), aligning with known PETM anoxia. Disequilibrium in <sup>226</sup>Ra/<sup>238</sup>U and positive uranium remobilization index (RmI) values indicate post-depositional uranium migration. Radiological hazard indices (Ra<sub>eq</sub>, H<sub>ex</sub>, H<sub>in</sub>, Iγ) are below international safety thresholds, suggesting minimal external exposure risk.</p>
